The Customer Agreement
- Why is the MNX Customer Agreement necessary?
-
We must have this agreement in place in order to approve your business account. It describes our Terms, Procedures, and IP Policy.
- How do I obtain the Customer Agreement?
-
An HTML version of the MNX customer agreement is available on the MEMS and Nanotechnology Exchange web site http://www.mems-exchange.org/policies/customer_agreement
If you wish to have a customer agreement form sent to you via regular postal mail, please contact us by e-mail at business@mems-exchange.orgor by telephone at 703-262-5362
- Is it possible to modify the MEMS and Nanotechnology Exchange Customer Agreement?
-
Yes, but please try to avoid requesting modifications to the MEMS and Nanotechnology Exchange Customer Agreement. Your requested fabrication service can quickly commence if the agreement is not modified. Customers who have request changes in the Customer Agreement may experience significant delays as your legal office and our legal office to negotiate the proposed changes. There is very little the MEMS and Nanotechnology Exchange can do to speed up the negotiations. However, if your legal office absolutely will not accept our agreement as it is written, please contact us directly at 703-262-5362 or business@mems-exchange.org to initiate discussion.
- Who should accept the Customer Agreement?
-
This is a question that can only be answered by your organization. This person must be someone who is authorized to accept agreements on behalf of your organization.
Regardless of who accepts the agreement, it is very important that every user of a MEMS and Nanotechnology Exchange business account be aware of the terms of the agreement. Every user should read the MNX Customer Agreement before requesting fabrication services.
- How often do I need to accept a Customer Agreement?
-
Once. You only need to accept a Customer Agreement when you first apply for a business account.
- What if I leave my employer?
-
If you leave your current organization and wish to continue using the MNX, you will need to apply for a new business account, and someone with appropriate authority will need to execute a new customer agreement on behalf of your new organization.
